Welcome to SINAM
SINAM (Sadayanodai Ilaignar Narpani Mandram) was registered as a non-profitable, non-political, non-religious charitable voluntary organization in May 16, 1986 at Tiruvannamalai, Tamil nadu, India.
A group of 15 young people including college students gathered together for the formation of a society, legally recognized for the socio economic environmental and health development of Dalits and the poor people in Sadayanodai village. SINAM in Tamil language is Anger. The expression of anger was due to the injustice, unequal distribution, discrimination of poor and illiterate people and their struggle for their day to day survival. In order to work with the marginalized and disadvantaged people, SINAM was emerged as an NGO, and developed a strategy of working with the People, Government, Banks, Educational Institutions, Funding Partners and other Organizations for empowering the under privileged, unprivileged and less privileged community.
